Clean and comfortable room in a tree-lined street about 15 minutes from metro. Our room had 3 single beds, hanging space, drawers, dressing table and tv. The bathroom had a decent shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was in a small room laid out the night before as no-one was on site.It was perfectly adequate with coffee machine, teas, pastries, yogurts and fresh fruit. There were a few restaurants within a short walk but it is mainly a residential area so probably as quiet as Rome gets!

Athena feels different than a lot of other guest houses I have been to. We immediately felt at home, the service and hospitality of the owner as well as the little details in the room made all of the difference for us. Of course, the fact that it it very close to St. Peter didn’t hurt either! Totally recommended!

A hidden treasure. Cleanliness friendliness and hospitality are the ones that characterize it. Daily room layout. Satisfactory breakfast without exaggeration. An ideal choice for Rome because you are serviced by metro and bus supermarkets. Our place in Rome.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms as describes and Carlos is fantastic owner. Very clean and close to a metro. Every day we were fresh croissant and the cleanliness was very good. When I go back to the Rome I will stay here. Thank you for all Carlos. Panagiotis & Anthi.

Pleasant stay at the Athena which is very central and a friendly atmosphere where everyone is treated like family. I went there to watch the All Blacks versus Italy game and so it was within a 15 minute walk to the Olympic stadium and 25 minutes into downtown Rome. Immaculate facilities ensuite in every room, just four rooms in total, wifi included and a filling continental breakfast and Oh the Coffee!
